Roshan is the founder of Hyphen Wealth Management. He began his career in Chicago at Kemper Mutual Funds and went on to hold senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Equitable, and Strategic Capital. As Senior Vice President for the RIA and broker/dealer channel, he worked directly with many of the country's leading RIAs, CPA’s and wealth management firms. This unique vantage point taught him the wealth management business from behind the scenes. Roshan was a frequent guest speaker at national conferences speaking on Retirement Planning, Charitable Planning, Alternative Investments and Advanced Tax and Estate Planning.
After nineteen years in that role, learning from the best, Roshan set out to build a practice of his own. In 2018, he launched the Wealth Management division at RINA Accountancy on a simple premise: clients are better served when tax and investment advice are delivered under one roof. The integrated model worked. It deepened relationships, sharpened outcomes, and became the foundation for Hyphen Wealth Management.
Roshan is known for the depth of his client relationships and his creativity in finding unique solutions for his clients. He takes the time to understand not just his clients' finances, but their families, their goals, and what they're actually working toward — and that understanding is what makes his advice land. It's also what he loves most about the work.
Outside the office, Roshan supports his kids' schools, sports, and theater programs. He lives in Berkeley, California, with his wife, Hetal, and their two sons Rowen and Shaye and their dog Zain. Roshan is a Board Member of the Berkeley Playhouse and serves on the Finance Committee.

Cyrus is a co-founder of Hyphen Wealth Management. He began his career on the high-yield bond and derivatives desk at Bank of America in New York, arriving in 2006 and staying into the credit unwind of 2008. He went to law school at Boston College, passed the New York State Bar, and spent a year as an independent consultant to RIAs and a renewable energy start-up before joining Highline Wealth Partners in Los Angeles in 2014.
At Highline, Cyrus rebuilt the research function from the ground up and, later, strengthened the firm's compliance function: arriving as an advisor, then serving as Director of Research and Chief Investment Officer, and eventually taking on the Chief Compliance Officer role as well. He continued in senior investment leadership at an RIA through 2025 before co-founding Hyphen with Roshan in 2025. The division of labor is clean: Roshan owns the client relationship, Cyrus owns the portfolio and the compliance program.
Cyrus is an economist and fixed-income investor at heart. His investment philosophy is that disciplined, measured strategic asset allocation wins clients their financial security with less heartache — fewer surprises, fewer forced errors, and a portfolio that behaves the way clients were told it would. He holds the CFA charter, a JD from Boston College Law School, and is admitted to the New York State Bar. Though he no longer practices, the legal training shows up in how he approaches compliance, contract review, and fiduciary duty at Hyphen. He earned a BA in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Cy lives in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife Ryanne and their daughters Campbell and Lachlan, spending as much time near the beach as the calendar allows. He reads voraciously — economics, history, finance, biography, and science fiction — and is a lifelong supporter of Arsenal Football Club, a habit picked up as a kid living in London. His mother spent her career as an investment-grade bond trader and became one of Wall Street's early female managing directors; watching her taught him what it looks like to bring everything to the work and still make room for family. The ends do not justify the means. Balance is necessary, if fleeting.

Our Approach
Hyphen Is Your Connection Between Tax & Wealth
Our objective is to ensure your tax strategy, estate plan, and portfolio support the same long-term plan
Coordinated directly with your CPA
Your portfolio and your tax strategy are reviewed in the same meeting, by advisors who see your full picture — so decisions don’t need to be made without understanding the impact to your financial plan. We know a team is stronger, together.
Proactive planning advice
We work alongside your accountant throughout the year, not just around April, collaborating and discussing planning opportunities to work for your benefit. Linking investment management with tax expertise helps you reach your goals faster, with less anxiety. The ride matters.
Measured by what you keep
We weigh every recommendation against its after-tax outcome to reduce unnecessary drag on your return. Your investments work for you, not the other way around.
WHAT WE CAN DO
A complete picture
We take a holistic view of your financial life — connecting investment management to the broader decisions that determine your long-term outcomes.
Investment Management
Discretionary portfolio management across public equities, fixed income, and alternative investments. Evidence-based, low-cost, tax-aware. Institutional research and asset allocation approach helps give you the best chance of winning your race.
Estate & Legacy Family Planning
Coordinates investment strategy with trust structures, beneficiary designations, charitable vehicles, and multi-generational wealth transfer goals. How you give is just as important as how much. We can help you navigate the path effectively end tax-efficiently.
Financial Planning
Retirement projections, cash flow analysis, education funding, insurance review, and scenario planning — all integrated with your portfolio strategy. Investments are only as good as the plan that guides them.
Tax Aware Management
Tax-loss harvesting, asset location optimization, Roth conversion analysis, capital gains planning and 1031 exchanges for real estate owners. All directly coordinated with your CPA to minimize unnecessary tax drag. To make a plan succeed, you need all the pieces together.
Alternative Investments
Access to Institutional-grade private opportunities typically unavailable to individual investors. Careful use of diversified and uncorrelated investment strategies can help access the private markets and help your portfolio grow without taking excess risk.
Outsourced Investment Services
Managing a portfolio shouldn't distract from your core mission. Whether you are an RIA scaling your firm or a non-profit protecting your endowment, we act as your dedicated, institutional investment office: all the function, none of the fixed cost.
Charitable Giving
Give more, by giving differently
If you're charitably inclined, how you give can matter as much as how much. Donating long-term appreciated stock directly to a charity — instead of selling it and donating the cash — is one of the simplest ways to increase what actually reaches the cause you care about.
When you donate securities you've held for more than a year, you generally avoid the capital gains tax you'd owe on a sale, and you can still deduct the full fair market value of the gift, up to IRS limits. The charity receives the full value, and typically pays no tax on the sale itself.
We help clients identify which holdings make the best candidates for a stock gift, coordinate the transfer with the receiving organization, and factor the gift into your broader tax and portfolio strategy.
Sell, then donate cash
